Carne seca (Dried Meat) consists of a fresh cut of Canadian beef, cured with salt, to develop aroma and flavor. The most common use is cooking with black beans, the famous Brazilian “Feijoada”. It can also be sautéed with onions, stuffed into pies, empanadas, croquettes and as a replacement for bacon at lunch.
